One of the biggest reasons Minnesotans do not spend the night sitting in the backyard is because of bugs. Do I need to bring up the sever gnat problem residents along the Minnesota River had the spring of 2019?? No I do not! 

  • The obvious solution is to screen in your outdoor kitchen, or add retractable screens but there are other attractive solutions such as an outdoor overhead fan that can help with some flying insects.

3.      Lighting

We say it often but there is some truth to it: lighting is like the jewelry to an outfit. Don’t miss any opportunity to add a little decorative element with lighting. Plus, with the right light, you can party all night.
