MEET THE TEAM
As Principal, Gary brings with him over 32 years in the construction and kitchen and bath industry, and he is a Certified Kitchen Designer from the National Kitchen and Bath Association. It’s safe to say that his values and sense of design influence everything that happens at Cherry Creek. The aspect that Gary loves most about the business is seeing the smiles of Cherry Creek’s clients after a well-thought-out design has been completed for them. Gary explains, “It never gets old, and you can always tell you’ve done a good job for your client when you see them shopping in a mall or they make a special trip to the showroom years later, and they want to give you a big hug.”
Gary and his wife Denise reside in North Mankato. They enjoy the arts, golf, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
Garrick has an extremely broad knowledge of the construction process, and has personally built several homes performing all phases of the construction. His calm and reassuring personality is an essential ingredient during the construction process.
In addition to his construction background, Garrick has a discerning and creative eye that’s always looking for the creative solution. His sense of color and proportion are always sought out by our team and add that critical element that we call “sensitivity to detail.”
Amy’s smiling face is the first thing you’ll see upon entering Cherry Creek. Prior to joining the team at Cherry Creek, she had her own interior design company and was the Executive Director of the Minnesota River Builders Association for 15 years. Her favorite part about working at Cherry Creek is the creative, family-oriented atmosphere along with the gorgeous showroom.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys DIY projects of all kinds as she and her husband Matt love helping their adult kids work on their homes and happily spending time with their three grandchildren.
Christina has lots of enthusiasm for the design process coupled with an attention to detail. Using her strong spatial skills, she creates highly functional spaces for her clients while maintaining a beautiful design that reflects the client’s vision of how they want the space to look.
Since graduating from Century College in 2014, Christina has earned her license as a CKBD, Certified Kitchen and Bathroom Designer by the National Kitchen & Bath Association. She was also recognized as a winner of the 2015 Current Choice Award of Crystal Cabinet Works’ 2015 Crystal Design Awards and 2020’s Minnesota Chapter NKBA medium-sized kitchen category.
Nicole graduated from Iowa Lakes Community College, receiving her Associate Science degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD). Shortly after, she graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design. Nicole is a lead interior designer who brings all she’s learned to Cherry Creek every day, with excitement to work with each client.
Nicole specializes in space planning and utilization. Her exceptional eye for detail makes her an asset to our team.
Isaac has been with Cherry Creek since December of 2022 but has been honing his carpentry skills since he was a junior in high school. His multi-faceted talents span framing, cabinet installation and finishing, all with a keen eye for detail and design.
“My favorite part of the job is problem solving and being able to look back at the end of the job and see the blueprint come to life. I pray every morning that the Lord will bless my craftsmanship.” ~ And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him (Colossians 3:17). When not on site, Isaac enjoys playing basetball, mountain biking, snowboarding, water skiing and hunting.
